Print Info
Prints that are available for sale are located in two "Puchase Print" galleries in the gallery section of Mike Hites Photography.com; one for standard format images and another for panoramas. These are essentially favorites galleries. This frees me to add images that might not be sellable, such as photos of others' works of art or private property, or photos I just want to show. If you see something you would like to purchase that is not in one of those two galleries, please get ahold of me through the contact page and I will see what I can work out.
I use an Epson professional series printer and personally print all sizes up to 16" x 24" and panoramas up to 36" long. For larger prints and canvas gallery wraps I work with a custom printer. The combination of pigment inks and archival photo papers produce a beautiful print which should last a lifetime. Prints are signed on the image itself unless you would prefer I sign the back.
Print sizes are approximate, as I use several different cameras with slightly different aspect ratios, and I sometimes like to crop to match my vision. I will print the image to the long dimension shown in the drop-down menu you see as you place your order.
If you decide to purchase a matted print, (which adds tremendously to the beauty of your photograph), I use only archival materials and the print is easily removed from the backing if you should ever need to have it re-matted.
Ordering
Online orders are processed through PayPal, a safe and secure site. You do not need a PayPal account to process your order. To order:
1) Go to the gallery containing the image of your choice.
2) Click on or hover over the shopping cart icon in the lower right corner of the thumbnail of the image you wish to purchase.
3) Use the drop down menu to choose your size image and whether you want the print only, a matted print, or a canvas gallery wrap for the panoramas.
4) Click on the "Add to PayPal Cart" button which will take you to your PayPal Cart. From here you can click on the continue shopping button to return to the gallery and add more items to your cart, or proceed with checkout.
As soon as I receive notice of your order, I will send you an email confirming that I am about to start producing your print. If needed, we can discuss any questions you may have.
